Talish Clover // Trifolium tumens
We were once told that if we could find a white clover with a root like a dock or parsnip we would go a long way in solving the problem of supplying a clover adapted to dry temperate areas. We think we have found it in Permatas!
Geographical range of adaptation:
Warm temperate and cool Mediterranean environments. (T. tumens is distributed throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, Caucasus and mountainous regions of the Middle East ).
This cultivar is considered a replacement for White Clover in those areas that are considered marginally too dry for that species. To be released in 2011.
